Serve as HQDA Responsible Official for Airspace, Aeronautical Information, Air Traffic Control, NOTAMS and Flight Procedures Policy.

  • Represent HQDA at the national and international level for airspace and aeronautical matters
  • Provide Army representatives to the FAA's national headquarters three service centers; Provide USAASA Det to serve Europe, Africa and Middle East
  • Execute duties as the Army functional proponent for Army airfields/heliports
  • Execute duties as DCS, G-2 Responsible Official for Army aviation weather policy
  • Execute duties as ASA-I&E Responsible Official for Military-Civilian Joint Use of Army airfields
  • Provide aeronautical services to U.S. Army forces worldwide
